He spoiled us with all things Italian from Bolognese, garden salad, bread rolls, Mencia 2019 red wine, and tiramisu and espresso as the finishing touch. Mariano invited us over to his house for dinner on the weekend to return the favor of us inviting him over to our house for lunch last month. My parents and I step out of the comfort zone in El Casa de Santiago and into the welcoming of the residence of previous podcast guest Mariano Oliver. Believe it or not, this man has become a really big deal to my life in just a short period of three months.

What is definitely my personal favorite episode of the entire podcast, my Mom and I have such a wonderful in-depth conversation with the twenty-first guest of the podcast who really means a lot to me: my 90 year-old bowling teammate Jim Carpenter. It was 55 years ago TODAY that all the lonely people started getting better by getting high with a little help from their friends when the Beatles took a trippy turn with the release of their groundbreaking album "Sgt.
